Fruit

Choose a fruit that you like! Everyone chooses a different fruit. Make your choice known!
Lists of Fruits

Use Microsoft Publisher to create a simple flyer about the fruit you have chosen.
Include:
  • Picture of your fruit
  • Nutrition information (USE THIS WEBSITE - type in your fruit where it says 'enter food name'. Include fiber content, calorie content, sugar content, sodium content etc)
  • A recipe with your fruit as a main ingredient
  • Your name

    Vegetable Newsletter

    Choose a vegetable
    Create an informational newsletter about your chosen vegetable.
    Include the following information:
    • A picture if your vegetable.
    • Nutrition information (nutrient and vitamin content).
    • A full recipe with your vegetable as an ingredient - main ingredient is best. This includes all ingredients and preparation methods.
    • The origin and/or history of your vegetable.

    You should find RECENT reports on any of the following topics.

    Food safety (how foods can become unsafe)
    Foodborne illnesses and outbreaks
    Common food bacteria - salmonella, e.coli, staph
    Time/Temperature control
